GM-323 Foxbandit

The Foxbandit was a strange spacecraft design, being one of the handful of attempts ever made to put fully articulated weaponry on a small fighting unit. Six gimballed energy weapons gave the Foxy-B (as their crews called them) a strange silhouette. They were flown by a gunner forward and a pilot above and behind them. The articulation could be deadly in skilled hands, but use of the system required a significant investment in training to do a job which an Umbrage or Skyrazor could do with only one crewman and less than half the cost of the GM-323's complex weapon system. Still, many served in the mercenary incursions and remained in service on the outer rim worlds after the conflicts died down, though never in large numbers.
