These files are for a 1:6 scale Gnome Sigma rotary engine as used in the 1912 Blackburn Monoplane and other early aircraft. There are only three parts to the model - cylinders front, cylinders rear and a joining ring that sits between the two engine halves and keeps them aligned while they are glued together.
The model in the photograph was printed on an FLSun V400 with supports enabled with a support overhang of 70 degrees.
Push rods are simply short lengths of piano wire epoxied in place.
There are tiny supports as part of the print behind the lower tappets. These can be removed after printing.
Finished model, including pushrods, weighs 45 grams.
I have not provided any means to fix the engine into a model as the crankcase has been designed to be a fairly tight fit over a Surpass 4260-06 motor and will be fixed to that.
