This is a battery plate holder designed for the Gobuild channel used in First Tech Challenge (FTC). This plate holdes wither a “SLIM” or “SQUARE” battery with loops thatr you can use velcro to hold down the battery. We mounted this on teh bottom of our robot, so that we could easily pull it out and change batteries. Because of this, we printed in PETG, but PLA works just as good. One side of the plate is designed to wrape one of the channels. *** This was very hard to clean out the supports, but a little effort and it works well. The other side is designed to be on the “top side” of the channel it is resting in. All the holes are 4mm, meaning that if you screw in a normal M4 bolt (standard Gobuilda bolts), it will cut threads and hold the plate without needing nuts. There are many holes, we only did 3-4 bolts to hold it in place. Please visit my profile to see other FTC related models. Enjoy. Team 4234.
