Newer Version Available V2 – September 2025: Updated design with snap-fit joints (replaces filament dowels). https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/golf-ring-target-v2-snap-fitSummary3D-printable golf target ring for chipping & putting; modular design, similar to Topgolf-style targets.DescriptionThe Golf Target Ring is a modular practice aid intended for use in short-game training, specifically chipping and putting drills. Its function is comparable to the target zones used in Topgolf facilities, allowing players to aim at defined areas for precision training. The design is divided into 200 mm segments to ensure compatibility with the K1C and similar build volume. A reduced-size variant (170 mm segments) is included for printers with smaller build areasFile formats supplied: STL and STEP.Printing Specifications* Number of Parts: 4 identical segments required per ring* Filament Type: All standard filaments are supported; PETG or ABS are recommended due to superior thermal resistance* Layer Height: 0.20 mm* Supports: Not required* Infill: 20% Gyroid* Connector Material: 16 pieces of 1.75 mm filament, each cut to 25 mm length, to be used as alignment dowelsAssembly1. Insert four 25 mm filament dowels into each connector recess.2. Align and join the four printed segments sequentially to form a closed ring.3. Apply adhesive to the joints to ensure structural stability. - For ABS prints, acetone solvent welding may be used as an alternative to adhesive.4. Allow adhesive or solvent weld to fully cure before use.Recommended Use* Place the ring on a flat surface such as a lawn, practice mat, or indoor putting green.* For putting practice, use the ring as a precision target to improve aim and distance control.* For chipping practice, position the ring at varying distances to simulate landing zones, similar to Topgolf-style targets.* Multiple rings may be printed and arranged at different distances to create progressive skill challenges.* Avoid exposure to prolonged dir
