Gonzalez crest shield

Gonzalez is a Spanish surname deriving from the Visigothic / ancient Germanic term for a castle, "gunþo(guntho)-salaz" meaning "war hall", as evidenced by the castle on its family crest and the Visigothic cultural origins of the nation of Spain.
