You want to make a googly eye 100% 3D printed ? Try these one.
If not, a better googly eye with lense can be found here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5724391
There, I propose 2 type of googly eye without lense.
- Real googly eye with simulated lense :
The 3D model is composed of 3 parts, so you can choose the color for each one.
I recommand to print with 0.15mm layers.
It's important to have the least possible space between the pupil and the front and back face, to avoid that the pupil pop out of the eye.
The probability to lose a pupil is very low (if not zero), especially if you don't turn the eye down during the wobbling.
- Fake googly eye with constrained pupil (old prototype):
Only 2 parts, the pupil is attached to the back by the central axis. There are more friction and more noise with these.
The only interest is that this allow to make very big googly eye or to have only 2 parts and without lense.
