Turns out in some countries two connected rings considered as a weapon (including Germany).
So I've made a one-ring mount for my GoPro. I use this setup for vloging. All buttons are easily accessible. It has an additional standard GoPro mount at the bottom. So you can mount it on any other mount (i.e. tripod) without having to unscrew the ring mount.
Again: ring might be a little bit tight. I'm working on the optimal size.
