I love the sound of the Grado SR325e's but the comfort of the stock foam earpads makes it impossible to listen for extended periods of time. Iwanted an over-ear ear-pad so I purchased the Voarmaks 100mm over-ear velour earpads which are listed as compatible with the SR325. When installed the backing of the eaprads is flexible so the cups/velour provides no support and the headphone driver rests directly on the ear, whcih is not comfortable. I created this slid in support which slips upwards from the bottom between the earned and the headband attachment, it holds in place firmly and supports the earpads whcih lifts the driver just above the ear, making the headphones usable for all-day listening. Compared to the stock foam on-ear earpads, the sound quality seemed slightly improved to me, with fuller bass, and less harsh high-end.
