"Grandpa’s Candy Dispenser: A Childhood Memory Reimagined"One of the most memorable parts of my childhood was my grandpa’s handmade candy dispensers. He built nearly a hundred of them out of wood — simple, thoughtful designs that always brought joy to our family. We always had them stocked with candy and we would help ourselves to a handful whenever we visited him. For this contest, I’ve created a 3D-printable version inspired by those original dispensers. It’s a modern take on a piece of my childhood — a way to honor his craftsmanship and share the quiet joy those little machines brought to me and my cousins growing up.This design is both a tribute to a meaningful family tradition and a reminder of how small, well-made things can leave a lasting impact.
