The inspiration for this came from an Edgeco copy of a Wingen gravity knife I had as a wayward youth, and from the look of the Microtech OTF knives.

This is NOT a switchblade comb as it is not spring loaded - it operates via gravity. Point up, press the button, nothing happens. Point down and press the button, the comb slides out and locks in place when you release the button. To retract, point up and press the button and the comb slides back into the handle.

Tolerances are a bit more loose than I would have on a knife due to A) the lightweight comb as compared to a metal blade and B) the plastic put down by my FDM printer isn't as smooth as polished steel. It works though.

Assembly requires 5x(M2x10) screws, 1x (M2x12) screw, 6x M2 nuts, and half of a spring from a ballpoint pen.

Minimal supports needed, but you may want to play around with the orientation of the comb to find what works for you and your printer.
