Update: new and improved soldering stand available hereThis is my second swing at a 3d-printed soldering stand and this time around I wanted to make a few improvements.The base is printed with a significantly higher infill % to make it nice and heavy. In addition, the hole in the brass wool holder is a bit smaller than my previous one so that the wool doesnt pull out when plunging your soldering iron in. Otherwise, much stays the same. The soldering iron itself is held by a 608ZZ bearing which also shields your filament from the heat a good bit. I printed my previous model with PLA-CF and it held up just fine to the soldering iron heat. I did print this one with PETG though.The stand has an integrated 4x2 Gridfinity base so you can quickly put it in and out of your soldering drawer! I also decided to put 4 squares of ~2mm thick rubber on the 4 outer gridfinity squares in order to reduce any potential sliding on the table. It still fits just fine into a standard gridfinity base with the
