An improved extruder for all Griffins, however not an easy part to make. This allows use of a generic Hobb eliminating the need for the Griffin brass hobb. This has more grip and if printed really slow can sometimes even tolerate flexible filaments.

Building this requires a 1/8 NPT thread tap to tap the large hole on the idler, the trheads are in place they just rarely print well. An alternate method is to disassemble your bowden fitting to remove the o-ring, then use the base of it to create threads by heating it with a lighter while holding it with pliers(!) and threading it into the idler. Use caution to not get burned. Also make sure to clean out all the holes with a drill bit or ream. The hole for the idler bearing bolt also could use a tap but can be skipped either by just drilling it out or heating a bolt and threading it in.
Sorry, no real instructions but not difficult to assemble as there is only 3 parts really.
