Grumman X-29

This is the Grumman X-29. the X-29 is an American experimental aircraft. its purpose was to test forward swept wings and canard control surface. It was capable of reaching Mach 1.6 and can operate at 50,000 feet. It had good maneuverability, but it was aerodynamically instable. Discoveries from the X-29 have helped the design of the F-22.
