This model was created for rc cars of small and medium size, with low space available on them. The choise of making the differential belt driven was driven by the intention of 3d printing all the parts, the belt too (I made it in TPU 95A), in fact this way less heat is generated and the components are less under stress. I printed the gears in PETG and all the other parts in PLA. The assembly process is a lot simpler that you might espect, because the deisgn and the tollerances were made to create the smoothest experience possible. These are the steps: Taking all the parts: You won't just need all the components linked on top, but also 4*608 bearings and 2*686 bearings Assembling the first two bevel gears: Take the two gears with the round hole and put the 686 bearings in it Creating the first part of the gearbox: Take the two bevel gears just assembled, align the holes to the two at the top and at the bottom of the cage and put the cyilinder throught, securing all the parts in place Assembling the two shafts: Take one spacer, put a 608 bearing in one of the two sides, catch one of the two remaining bevel gears, align his hole to the spacer and put the penthagon shaft throught all of them, creating one solid piece Finishing the gearbox: Put the two shaft and insert the berings inside the side holes of the cage, ensuring them in place Finishing the differential: Take the two bearing remained, put them in the side of the spacers and lay them in the cavities of one cover, to then close the whole differential All the assembling process are described in the file below. If you notice some imperfections on the model or you wanna suggest some changes, don't be afraid to share your opinions in the comments, I read all of them. And don't forget to leave a like to help to grow up the model
