Simple compact spool stand using 608 ball bearings.
Required 2 parts and bearings per side of the spool (so 4 in total).
Clean out the holes in the large cylinders, sand/file both cylinders until they are nice and round if necessary. Push the bearings onto the larger cylinders, press them all the way down, place 2 assemblies onto each other and press them together gently but firmly. Repeat for the other side.
Filament should be pulled from a low position.
This stand differs a little from the other similar ones already on here:
The bearing mounts are 7,9mm across so a little printing tolerance should not ruin the print. Same goes for the hole/pivot (3,5mm hole, 3,3mm pivot). Should it sit too loose, just use a little glue.
The bases of the cylinders are thickened so that the whole part can be printed lying flat without tearing the cylinders off too easily when assembling the stand. And if they do tear off it can be printed vertically with support required only for the cylinde
