Plastic tip to protect telescope finish from metal bolts used to secure the scope in guide rings.
I lost one of the delrin tipped thumbscrews for my guidescope rings - and also needed some that were a little longer to hold a smaller scope. I didn't want to wait for new ones (or pay the rather hefty price tag) so I bought some regular bolts at the local hardware store.
These ones are sized for 3/8" hex bolts, but you can customize for your needs. (The ones included with my ADM scope rings were 3/8" - 24 tpi.)
I glued the tips onto the bolt after inserting in the guide rings to prevent them from falling off.
