Guillotine Model Kit

"Olden days" beheading guillotine. Learning solidworks program and realized there was not many files like this on thingiverse so I thought it would be an interesting concept.

Designed to be 3d printed without supports, although there are just very slight 1mm over-hangs on the upright beam supports that seemed too insignificant to worry about. I printed it without supports and works great. Parts designed to fit a 230x150x150 mm print bed, although the bigger the better :). Also I printed with 20% infill worked perfect. Strong as needed.

As said, all parts are made to exact fit, so around edges etc, needs a little sanding but very little to my surprise. Blade slides well straight off the printer.

I am quite pleased with the design. Parts lock together holding each other in. I went a step further with my own print (shown in above picture) and attached a razor blade instead of 3d printed blade...just for extra weight and some effect ha ha.
