My version of guitar capo. Without a spring, as any spring version can apply under- or overpressure, causing strings rattle or tone change. In the clamp type capo you can adjust the pressure at any time. The clamping of the strings is made with a radius of 241 mm (9.5 "), which is typical radius for the first frets of most electric and acoustic guitars (as far as I can be wrong). As a screw pair I has used a M5 bolt and a threaded rivet, pressed in without a big force. The bolt, the knob and the hex plug is glued together by a drop of hot glue. I also used small strips of genuine leather to protect the guitar neck and strings. The leather strips is glued by superglue (cyanoacrylate), inserting the strip ends into the provided anti-peel pockets. The small metal plate (the bolt abuts against it) is inserted with pressure into the moving part of capo, or it can be glued in.
