A resting stand used to hold the neck of a guitar (electric, acoustic, bass, etc.) so you can perform maintenance like replacing string, removing pickups, etc. without making the guitar wobbles around and bumps its headstock due to uneven weight distribution or its overall shape. Can be used for ukulele, violin, and other string instruments as well, though it was designed for standard 6-string guitar neck in mind. See the image for recommended printing orientation.Parts:FDM prints the Body with hard plastics like PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.FDM prints the Pad with flexible material like TPU, TPE, etc. You could print this with hard plastics but you might risk scratching the guitar neck.Assembly:Just put an adhesive in between the parts. I would recommend using a flexible/rubber adhesive like the all purpose (often yellowish) glue from Aibon, UHU, FOX, etc. that used for leather, wood, plastic, etc. Press firmly and let dry according to the adhesive usage instructions.Designed by Diystrument 🇮
