Gunship, Edens Class

This is a replica of the Federation Gunship Edens class, manufactured from 2500 to 2655, with an impressive total of 144 being built. FS Hood being destroyed by sabotage while in construction in 2599 and the FS Kimitai being abandoned on Altair III while almost complete. The first sub-class fielded only laser turrets, while the latter sub-class used a mix of laser and nuke cannons. Almost all surviving Edens class were upgraded by 2660 to carry all nuke cannons and many of the laser turrets were retired or used for planetary last ditch defense. This model is provided with both the beam turrets with shorter cone lasers or can also be fitted with the longer nuke slug cannon turrets which became more common. I would recommend printing 3 turrets of both types to represent a ship in early, mid and late sub-classes.
