Half Inch Counter Tray

This is a tray to hold half-inch game counters or tokens. It's designed for Advanced Squad Leader, but would of course work for any game that uses this size counters.
The tray has 15 wells, each of which will hold 5 counters. The intent of the design is to be covered with a cardstock sleeve, closing as if it were a matchbox. The extended tab on the left edge of the tray is intended to give the sleeve something to hold onto even when fully open.

Gaps are left for tweezers to reach in and grab counters with plenty of clearance. If your tweezers are shaped correctly, you can grab all five counters in a stack at once.

Seven of these counters will organize all of the Counters for Starter Kit #1, with two each for the nationalities (generally MMC in one and SW/SMC in the other, though C or G squads often spill over into the SMC tray). There's enough space so that no counter is buried under a different counter.

One could store different counters underneath each other, and label
