#####Half Truncated Octahedron
If we take a regular octahedron and slice off all the 6 corners at 1/3 of its edge length (6 square pyramids), we get a good looking, spacing-filling solid: a truncated octahedron. It is a great exercise in Fusion 360 or any 3D design environment.
Included here are two shells, two halves, two solid wholes, and two shelled wholes, each in 25mm or 50mm. Have fun exploring the 3D space.
