As I was pricing rotary encoders, I realized that I could fabricate a rudimentary encoder/tachometer using just a 3D printer, magnets, and Hall Effect sensors (which detect magnetic field). See [this hastily made YouTube](https://youtu.be/Dt1ybvIDO-A).

This customizer makes the disc for basically any magnets and motor you have around.
