halo installation 04

hey guys, i found a lack of halo rings on the whole internet, so i decided to model the whole halo ring in fusion and print it out.

you'll need 15 segments (or 30 half segments) to complete the ring.

the inside is hollow so you can install a LED strip to give it the nice blue hue effect.

the ring has a diameter of around 1meter in total
on the inside i'm going to print out a high res map (on a 2d printer :p ) and glue that in place

i'll upload that image too when i created it

(edit) the image i used on the surface of the halo is now includen as a JPG or cut down into strips in a nicely packed PDF
