Here´s my light holder setup.
I use a 650w dimmer so i can regulate the heat comming out of the lamps. This is not mandatory but its really nice to have.
Warning! this will put out allot of heat use with care and use minimum PC plastic for parts as lesser parts will melt.
When printing: adjust the lights so they cover the parts thats getting printed, pay close attention that the lights have space even after a print is done (heater bed moving forwards with finished parts).
I have made a new version thats a bit more modern loocking lampholder (Light holder arm) and i also made a different connecting arm. ive upploded then and kept the old design.
What do i need ?
- You will need 6x Gu10 ceramic light socket (per side )
- 12 x m5 40mm (this is needed for the assembely of the light holder).
- 4 x m5 8mm (this is for mounting it to the 2040 frame).
- 12 x m5 wing nut (Ordinary will do fine but it will be more work to move the arms around).
- 4x T- nut m5 (this is
