Hammond Cane Topper

My daughter found the cane posted by FranciscoNiram and asked me to make it, but I did not like how the resin mosquito is attached to the top of the cane. It appears that the one she bought to go on top is quite a bit bigger than the one he used, and it has a flat bottom which means there is is very little surface area for glue to adhere to.

I made this in OpenSCAD and you can customize it to fit anything you want to use for the top of the cane that has a flat bottom. The threaded shaft runs all the way through to the top, so it will stay on the cane with or without glue and the nut that hold everything tight is recessed.
