Hand cranked generator

Update: 2019-07-09 - Fixed a flaw on the original motor gear. Added a mount and a motor gear for a flat sided motor (dimensions added as a picture). not sure if all versions of this motor is suitable, please link if you find some that does work.

A 3D-printable hand cranked generator designed just to get my kids thinking about things that are possible to do. I designed this around a 12v DC motor from a window flusher fluid pump and it is geared to ~1:29,16.

The motor mount is designed for a motor that have round body with an outside diameter of 27,6 mm and two M2.5 mounting holes with cc 16 mm. Motor shaft was 2,3 mm diameter. The mount can be modified to fit other motors :)

I printed all parts in PLA and except for the printed parts, you will also need the following:

3x M3 nuts
1x M3x20
1x M3x12
3x M3x10
4x M3x8
+ Screws to mount the motor of your choice
