This is a re-make from other ideas on Thingiverse. I like modeling and so wanted to model my own.
I did change the way the bike is connected to the wall. Some of the other models use the pedal, but with smaller kids around I wanted something a little more secure. I am going to use a small ball end bungie to wrap around the frame and then attach to the frame anchor.
The Frame Anchor can be printed in two orientations. I tried both ways and neither seemed stronger than the other. I printed them pretty beefy because over-engineering is better than under-engineering.
The Wheel Rest is designed for a 700C x 32 wheel and tire and so should accommodate other sizes. I may upload other sizes just to test my parametric design skills.
The mounting holes are for #8 ( .16 inch ) screws that mate with drywall anchors.
Print Settings:
Frame Anchor:
Resolution: .2
Infill: 90%
Perimeters: 6
Supports: none
Brim: none
Wheel Rest:
Resolution: .2
Infill: 20
