Makes
Hanji (Korean traditional paper) lamp I drew up based on a image from google.
Foot: print with feet up, solid bottom layers depending on filament transparency and lamp strength.
I used Sunlu wood (bright and semi transparent) and a 400lm lamp, ended up with 12 solid layers to block of light enough, default on other side, about 5 layers.
Used a split lid to fit paper between, included a solid as well.
Print 4 sides, 1 foot and either the solid or split lid.
Add paper on sides, assemble all sides in the foot and add the lid on top.
Remove one side, add a thin string of CA glue on the 45 degree edge leave 10mm at bottom so the side is not glued to the foot. (It slots 8mm into the foot).
Leave 5-7mm at the top to not glue the top lid.
Carefully press the sides together while the glue solidifies to avoid having light leak through the joint, best if the lamp is already mounted in the foot and on to see the gaps.
Remove the next side and add glue, replace and hold.
