I wanted to use my 3.5" mobile rack for the 2.5" laptop HDDs as well. Therefore I designed an adapter.

I consist of two parts that are joined by a 3mm screw. The adapter works quite well for my HDDs and my rack. The HDD is mounted with 2 M3 screws.
