A simple and scalable hard drive mount for external applications.
Print 2 per drive and stack them up. If you stack 4 HDD's high you can attach one or two 120mm fans. Then stack blocks of 4 HDD's until it feels unsafe. If only using 1 or no fan I have included a 'locking bar' that will lock the block of 4 HDD's up. (As shown by me holding up 4 disks by the fan, old broke fan fitted for testing, don't worry!)
Use normal HDD screws to secure stacker to hard drive and any 3mm screw to secure fan & locker to stackers. I'm using 8mm M3 cap heads because that's what I had laying around.
I print these on their side in PLA at 0.28 Layer Height at 80mm/s, 15% infill, with a brim to stop warping and supports to keep the circles from turning to ovals. Cleanup is fast, if you have an ender 3 remove the support in the screw holes using your little screwdriver that came with the printer, clears them perfectly.
