I designed this clip specifically for my table which has a thickness of exactly 34 mm, resulting in an amazingly satisfying snug fit.

If you go here you can download the project to be editted in Fusion360 so that you will be able to make a clamp that fits to your needs. Change the value of 'TableThickness' under "Modify -> Change Parameters -> TableThickness" to the thickness of your table.
I have the clamp attached to the Linnmon desk from Ikea.
