Remixed this design by @Branden_447545 to have a larger opening for a thicker butcher block desk. The opening is about 39 mm (1.53 inches). My desk thickness is roughly 38.2 mm (1.5 in). It has a looser fit that can be counteracted using electrical tape or some kind of spacer between the desk and holder that will increase the friction.
