HEAT SET INSERT PRESS V1 A fully 3D-printable tool designed to help you install heat set inserts at a perfect 90° angle.It uses two springs for smooth and reliable retraction. The spring parts are designed with built-in supports, so they can be printed without the need for additional support structures. Please be patient while you peel off the support structure. The only part that may require supports is the tool head (slider) — depending on your printer and slicer settings. The foldable legs can be opened and closed at 45°, making it compact and easy to store when not in use. Easy to assemble and operate — simply insert the pins into place and you're ready to go. V2 includes a drawer for storing inserts. You can check it out here: (Coming soon! 😊) The tool head can be secured optionally with one M3 x 12mm screw and an M3 nut. It is compatible with most standard soldering irons.
