Heddle Loom

This work is closely related to the 8-shaft table loom, also published on this site, and updated on May 2026.
This tool allow you to make yarn heddles of ‘hybrid’ type. A part is made of yarn, and the other is 3D printed. The idea is to be autonomous from commercial alternative, and to be less time and plastic consuming than 3D printed heddles.
For the printed part, you can easily print more than 100 eyelets at the same time, in less than 3 hours, even with a 0,25 mm nozzle. After a minimum of practice, the production of several dozen of heddle is relatively quick.
