Helmet mirror extender base

This mount replaces the one that comes with typical bicycle helmet mirrors, while providing an extension more suitable for motorcycle helmets.

I sanded the base to match the contour of the side of my motorcycle helmet. Then I glued the base to my helmet (using E6000) and let it cure 48 hours.

After verifying the mirror rod slides into the base, I used a drop of cyanoacrylate on the end of the rod before inserting it at the desired angle.
