Helper Car

Design ConceptIt's a Helper Car! Well, not really -- it's the "sports" car from the children's Helper Cars videos. My grandchildren are addicted to these videos, can barely even blink when they're on.This Helper Car is designed to be a simplistic yet engaging toy for children. Its rounded, sleek design with prominent colors makes it eye-catching and easy for small hands to handle.PurposeThis 3D printed car serves as a toy for children, encouraging imaginative play and coordination.Printing AdvicePrint the car body, wheels, and axles separately to ensure clarity in design. Consider using PLA for ease of printing and durability. I set a pause in the G-code around layer 40 (at 0.2mm/layer) to switch colors from black to white on the wheels/hubs.Assembly InstructionsPrint one body, two axles, and four tires, 'cause that's what cars have.After printing, put the axles through the holes in the body and then push the wheels onto the axle ends. It can take a bit of doing, depending on how you print the axle. If you print it laying down you'll likely get support residue across the length of it, making it a bit oblong; if you print it vertically then the ends tend to have a bit of residue on them. I always got them to fit without too much trouble, but you may find that shrinking the axle diameter may help.
