I will be offering another batch of the aluminum plate for sale on eBay.
I will include the link when my listing goes live
27th of January 2020, I have uploaded a .step file of the flat pattern.
The. stl of the backing plate is just for reference
The probe mount and cable keeper are printable functional parts.
You will need,
3mm aluminium sheet.
M3 Tap.
Small counter sink bit.
4 x M3 x 5 Unbrako countersunk hex drive bolts for attaching the hot end to the plate.
2 x M3 x 6 dome heads for attaching the probe mount.
2 x M3 x 5 grub screws for locking the probe in position.
I printed the probe mount in Carbon Fiber Nylon and ran a M3 tap through the holes.
