HeNe Laser Shutter

Laser safety shutter replacement for JDSU and Lumentum 1100 series lasers. The original shutter has a short control surface that can wear down over time. These lasers are also known as Helium-Neon or HeNe lasers.

Recommend print settings:

ABS Filament .2mm resolution

100% infill with 3-4 layers for exterior, top and bottom features.

IMPORTANT! (Tap center hole of print with a 1/8" drill bit)



***Part Replacement***

Step 1: Remove (4) .05" set-screws and then remove the end cap containing the laser shutter.

Step 2: Using a small pick or flat bladed screw driver, remove the one way washer and flat washer. There will be a wavy washer under the shutter.

Step 3: Install wavy washer, replacement shutter, flat washer and one way washer in that order.

Step 4: reinstall the 4 set screws.
