There are times when planting in the herb garden when it is unclear which herbs are seeded and where. The 3D printed tags make the planting always visible.
The tags are printed in PETG to minimise yellowing, fading and to reduce the effects of the sun. As I understand it, PLA will suffer these issues over time (6+ months).
I have included 5 herb tags so far: Oregano, Thyme, Sage, Coriander and Parsley. Over time I expect to grow (sic.) the tags collection, so check back for updates. The tags are 155mm long and 31mm wide at the label end. The text is 10mm high and highly visible.
Your tag label needs may vary from mine. Leave a comment on your needs, and if there is enough interest, I will add some tag label variations to match.
To make the print result more interesting, I do a filament colour swap near the end so that the raised text is printed in another colour and make it more visible. The filament colour swap is setup in your slicer software. Setting up the filament
