My hermit crabs got so big, they grew out of all the hides I could find at the store. I designed this simple hide and my crabs love it!
MAKE SURE TO MEASURE your crab's shell and SCALE THIS MODEL ACCORDINGLY before printing. I recommend scaling this model so it will be about 2 shell sizes larger than your largest crab. (Right now, the default size of this model is about 3.4 inches wide.)
The sides are pretty thick to give this hide some weight. I printed mine at 50% infill.
If you print this with the flat back side of the model against the bed and the opening facing up, you won't need any supports.
