hex stand for miniatures

I have had miniatures for Star Fleet Battles for over 25 years and recently the shelf I had them displayed on fell. Not the first time something like this happened. As I struggled with getting all the little parts put together, I realized I would need more - and better - stands. It inspired me to do a quick miniature stand design. These can be used for a variety of miniature games (such as Federation Commander, SFB, etc) that make use of hex stands. If your mounting hole is too big, simply trim off the tip so it will fit.

And be kind with any comments as to the condition of the ships in the picture. They, like me, are getting old. They are two of the several dozen in need of repair and paint touch up after the shelf fell :)
