This is an enclosure for the Desktop Light kit from Hexabitz. Inc.
hexabitz.com/ (product link)
The enclosure consists of three parts
- a cover that is printed in transparent color to transmit light. this can be printed in an inverted position without any need for support.
- a base for the led modules and the IR sensor module which also doubles as a soldering jig to solder these modules together. the base has an opening that fits the power module perfectly. the base can be printed in color of choice.
- a small cover for the power module in the base.
All the parts are designed to snap-fit together with no need for any additional fixing material.
several slots are provided to pry the parts apart using a small flat-head screwdriver.
Ps: the void in the base for the power module can be printed without support if your printer can handle bridges well since this void won't be visible and some drooping won't affect the functionality, otherwise this might need supports.
