Hexagonal mesh book end

***This bookend will not support books on its own. It is designed to be held in place by a metal C-clamp.***



Fairly large book-ends: about 9"x9". I wanted something that looked somewhat futuristic and industrial, which matches my other home decor. Since I like the look of C-clamps, and also don't like giving up much table/shelf space for book-ends, I designed these with divots into which a C-clamp head fits perfectly. There are 3 such divots in case you feel like you need extra strength/support; but in my experience the single C-clamp in the middle divot works just fine.

I painted my print with a metallic paint which imbues a cast metal finish. Printed at a fairly large, 3mm layer height. No supports required.
