Hexagonal Twist Table Lamp - E27 Standard

This is my first lamp project developed in OpenSCAD. I wanted something that used Spiral Vase Mode for the shade but had a firm base that was easy to assemble. The result is this hexagonal design with a subtle twist.The first prototype was a gift for my son, and since he liked the result so much, I decided to share the file with the community.Highlights:Real fit: The support was calculated to perfectly match the twist of the vase.No cable mess: The base has a hole for the socket and a screw cap at the bottom to hide everything.Easy to print: No supports needed if you print the base upside down.Tips for printing:Shade: Use Spiral Vase Mode. If you can, set the line width to 0.6mm for a sturdier result.Base: I printed mine in PETG to withstand the bulb&#39;s heat, but PLA also works if you use a cool LED bulb.Assembly: Use a standard 34mm (E27) socket.
