Hexy Coaster Remake

Revision 2017-07-30:
Insert stays the same. Renamed.
Outer made .50mm thicker. Renamed.
Holder made 4.50mm taller. (This makes all the bands the same thickness.) Renamed.
Old .STL files and some pictures removed.
I haven't yet made the new holder so the last 4 pictures are of the original design.


This is a reMake (not a remix) of the Hexy Coaster by daggius (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1643787).

I couldn't get his to load into my slicer ... so I designed one from scratch.

I added cutouts on the underside of the hex filler for drainage. I didn't want condensation to build up near an edge and overflow onto the table.

I also built a holder (instead of the suggested raised edge for stacking).

Swapping out filament on a single extruder machine isn't so bad ... once you learn the technique.
