HGLRC Flame 1407 Motor protector

I got tired of cleaning out dirt and soil from the motors after crashing so I designed a little protector to mount under the motors, to keep them clean.

I designed them specifically to not be a part of the structural integrity of the quad.
With my own printer, I can just mount them under the motors and they fit snugly. But you may have to use double sided tape or sand off some material.

I have flown once since mounting them. And they have held up nicely and I didn't have any overheating of the motors.
They weigh about 1 gram each.

Edit one year after: I still like these a lot. They do break some times. I have replaced maybe 8 within that year. But I broke and replaced 4 frames in that same time, so... They really do a great job in keeping dirt out of the motor.


Another user reported that they work well with GepRC 1507 Motors as well.
