HIMMELSO Support Bracket

IKEA's HIMMELSÖ product ( https://bit.ly/4eG6K15 ) is both attractive and functional. However, after a season or two, it may experience structural failures due to wind and other physical stresses. This issue is most noticeable where the beams connect in the middle of each of the four sides of the frame. Instead of dismantling and discarding the entire unit, you can prolong the product's end of life by adding this 3-D printable reinforcement to the affected areas. This solution locks the wilting beams into the correct orientation while adding support and strength to the entire frame. See the attached before-and-after images for reference and inspiration. Printing Instructions: No supports are required. For added strength, we recommend at least four outer walls with an infill of 40%. PLA works, but PETG is recommended for best results.
