You can choose which distance is going to be the hole from the side, with 3 possibility,7-6 or 5 mm, by just plugging the right spacer (for 6 and 5) or none (for 7), screw the template to your door with 2 screw, that are already in the right place for when you'll fix the hinge to your door. take a 35mm drill bit, drill the hole and you are done!The spacer can be place during the storage time, one in the pocket made in the template , the other in the position use for work.Very easy to remove them.you can create different spacer by just modify the k 5 (2mm ) spacer width
