Just your average hinged box. I designed this is SketchUp to help me learn more about using that software for 3D designs. I admit that I did not design the hinge mechanism in its entirety but remixed something I found on SketchUp's 3D Warehouse so that the box itself could print without supports.
It's also designed to be big, with thick walls. The plan is to eventually use these as breakout boxes for my students, with metal latches
